Smooth Spheres | Evolution of Smooth
I could probably write a book about how much I adore all of EOS’ products. From lip balms, to lotions, to shaving creams, this company has all of your moisturizing needs covered and at an affordable price. I feel like when I use any of their products (and you better believe I use all of them), I am blessing my skin. I’m going to begin with what made them famous, the Smooth Spheres.

Shaped like eggs, there are seven different variations to choose from, all of which look adorable in your purse or on your desk. They’re all 100% natural, 95% organic, gluten-free, and free of paraben, petrolatum, and phthalate. With nourishing Shea butter and Vitamin E, they’re the good stuff. I remember seeing an advertisement for the original three (red, green, and blue) in a magazine two years ago, and the rest is history. When I started using them, one sphere would last me about two months. Over time I started using them obsessively and now every new month comes with a new sphere.
The seven different flavours are as follows:
Red - Summer Fruit
Green - Honeysuckle Honeydew
Blue - Sweet Mint
Yellow - Lemon Drop SPF 15
Pink - Strawberry Sorbet
Purple - Passion Fruit
Orange - Medicated Tangerine
Summer Fruit is the very first one I tried. Honeysuckle Honeydew and Passion Fruit are my favorite, but Passion Fruit was only available in a special edition package alongside Strawberry Sorbet last summer and EOS has sadly not made any announcement about adding it to the permanent range. Sweet Mint is delightfully tingly and refreshing. Strawberry Sorbet became a member of the permanent range in October in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and seems to have the longest staying power (to me, at least). Sun protection is so important, especially during the summer, but unfortunately I just don’t like Lemon Drop. It has a strange after taste that I just can’t get over. Medicated Tangerine served double time this winter when I had a cold by keeping my nose from peeling after using too many Kleenex. I honestly cannot rave about these enough, and for less than $4 they just can’t be beat.
Are you as fanatic about these as I am? Which one is your favorite?
